Services Provided
Chartered
Physiotherapists use mainly physical techniques e.g. exercise,
manipulation, mobilisation, massage and electrical modalities to help
restore well-being to people following injury, pain or disability.
The physiotherapy department provides both an inpatient and outpatient
service to patients referred from Consultant and General Practitioners. In
some cases patients can also self refer. Services are divided into a
number of areas of specialisation each headed by a Senior Physiotherapist.

Opening Hours
The Physiotherapy Department is open from 8.00 am to 4.30pm, Monday to
Friday.
Appointment Procedures
For appointments call (01) 2609309 (8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday). The
Referral Form can be faxed to 01-2609299 or
emailed to physiotherapy@svph.ie.
If you need to change your physiotherapy outpatient appointment, please
provide at least 24 hours advance notice.
Charges
2009 Out patient Charges (€55 Per Session). As charges may change from
time to time please verify charges with the Department when accessing the
service.
