The new St. Vincent's Private Hospital opened on 14 November 2010 with 236 in-patient beds, 32 day care beds, 22 oncology day care bays, Specialist Consulting Rooms and Expanded Diagnostic and Treatment facilities. The New Private Hospital which will employ up to 250 additional staff is linked to St. Vincent's University Hospital via an underground corridor.

Requirements ·
Candidates
must have full registration with the Irish Medical Council. ·
All
applicants must hold current ACLS certification or be listed on a
course to complete same. ·
MRCP/MRCPI/FRCSI
or equivalent post graduate qualification would be desirable. ·
Candidates,
ideally, should be engaged in research or have a research proposal
in place. The
successful candidates will provide a 24 hour clinical service on a
rota basis to medical and surgical inpatients at St Vincent’s These
appointments are for a period of one year. Salary:
6th point of the Registrar Salary Scale. A

NURSE SPECIALIST - PALLIATIVE CARE
Full
Time (37.5 Hours per week) Permanent We
are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care to
provide continuing support to patients and staff in the hospital.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will act as an expert in
providing information and assistance to all patients requiring
palliative care as well as providing advice and support to medical,
nursing and allied health colleagues.
The successful candidate will be required to work in close
collaboration with the other members of the Palliative Care Team Requirements: ·
Registered
with An Bord Altranais. ·
Hold
a minimum of a diploma in palliative care or equivalent
qualification. ·
Have
at least 3 years post registration experience in an acute setting. ·
Management
qualification is desirable but not essential. ·
Have
good computer skills. ·
Possess
